Buchanan Schools students, grades K-7, now required to mask up

Students who attend Buchanan Schools in grades Kindergarten through 7 are now required to mask up.

The district posted notice of the decision on their website just before the holiday.

They say the mandatory mask rule is due to the increased spread of COVID-19 among students and staff.

More than 125 students have been quarantined since early November.

The middle school moved to virtual learning due to the number of quarantines.
