LaCasa, in partnership with the City of Goshen, has broken ground on two new-construction homes.

LaCasa builds new or renovates dilapidated homes to provide housing for low-and-moderate income families throughout Elkhart County.

The homes that ground was broken on, in the 200 block of 7th Street, will provide two new opportunities for homeownership within walking distance of the downtown area.

The project, in the East Lincoln Crossroads neighborhood, is a continuation of a 4-year, $2-million investment, which has provided more than 20 units of affordable housing the Goshen area.

Free houses for the “underserved”, but if you made good choices in life and go to work every day you’re on your own…

Was this $2 million dollars from taxes or donations?
