An Elkhart man was arrested on a drug dealing charge after police found him unconscious, behind the wheel of a running pick-up truck on West Lusher Avenue near South Nappanee Street.

Officers found Jackie Fisher, 50, slumped over the wheel, blocking the road with the engine running around 4:45 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 26.

The officer patted Fisher down for weapons and found a loaded 9mm handgun on his hip. Fisher admitted didn’t have a license to carry, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at The Elkhart Truth.

Fisher also had a glass pipe and several plastic baggies filled with meth, The Elkhart Truth reported.
