Brisk online sports betting continues in Indiana

Hoosiers placed more than $463 million in sports bets in the month of November, which turned into a revenue of nearly $50 million.

PlayIndiana.com says the popularity of betting has been fueled by football, but also college basketball and the NBA.

Analyst Jake Garza says basketball bets were made more in Indiana than any other state with legalized sports betting.

All of those bets also turned into $4.5 million in state taxes for Indiana.

Gambling should be legal, full stop. I’m glad sports betting finally is, though I would never do it.

My biggest complaint is that the commercials for it are so abysmally stupid and annoying…
