A Michigan City man has been charged with murder, attempted murder, and weapons charges in connection with the death of a 21-year-old man earlier this year.
It was back in May when police got a call about two people hit by gunfire in a drive-by shooting in the 200 block of North Calumet Avenue.
One of the victims, 21-year-old Tyrese Morris-Cross was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries.
The LaPorte County Sheriff’s Office says four other victims were later identified that were targeted.

He’s due in court on December 21st.
