Better Business Bureau issues a warning to stay vigilant when donating your money to help the tornado victims in Kentucky

You need to be careful who you give money to to help the tornado victims in Kentucky.

That’s the warning from The Better Business Bureau — reminding you that scammers may be trying to take advantage of the devastation left behind by last week’s tornado outbreak.

Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita adds that scammers are often opportunists and look for things like natural disasters to take advantage of individuals who are simply trying to help.

Both say that you should read into any website asking for donations to help tornado victims before you donate.
