The records lobby for the Berrien County Sheriff’s Office in St. Joseph has moved to appointment only.

Individuals can make an appointment for firearms transactions, sex offender registry and fingerprinting. Officials say walks-ins will be turned away.

Also, the Berrien County Sheriff’s Office in Niles remains closed to the public.

To schedule an appointment, call: (269) 983-7211 or email: sheriffrecords@berriencounty.org.

Please note that if you are requesting an appointment via email, please state the reason for the appointment and provide a contact phone number. Masks are required to enter the building for your scheduled appointment.

Available appointment times are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Remember, if you come without an appointment, you will be turned away until you schedule one.
