Fire crews battle house fire on Diamond Avenue in South Bend

The Red Cross was notified to help residents affected by a house fire.

The home on Diamond Avenue caught fire around 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 19, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

Images from the scene showed heavy smoke and flames engulfing the front of the home.

There was no immediate word about the cause of the fire.
