A Mishawaka man was taken to the hospital after a crash in Cass County.

The collision happened just before 10 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 19, near the intersection of Bair Lake Street and Wood Lake Road.

Police say the 55-year-old man was traveling eastbound when his vehicle left the road and struck a tree.

The man’s condition was stabilized at Elkhart General Hospital.

Police are still investigating factors that led to the crash.
