Mishawaka Police asking for help finding missing 16-year-old boy

Mishawaka Police are asking for help from the public locating a missing teenage boy,

Xavier Whitney, 16, is described as black, approximately 5’4” tall, weighing approximately 130 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Whitney has been missing from his Mishawaka home since Tuesday, Dec. 7.

He has not had any contact with family members since he went missing.

The teen’s family is concerned for his welfare due to the length of time his has been missing and the lack of communication with any family members on his birthday or Christmas.

The Mishawaka Police Department has exhausted all leads and are asking for anybody with information about Whitney’s whereabouts or wellbeing to contact Detective Sergeant Kelli Sells of the Mishawaka Police Department Detective Bureau 574-258-1684, or Mishawaka Police Dispatch at 574-258-1678.
