The Indiana Department of Natural Resources is asking for your help to figure out who is behind a scam that dates back to this summer.

The DNR says a third party is advertising state parks and forests, and campsite rentals. Hoosiers have been using this website to pay for their rentals, and then when they show up to the park, the site they paid for is not available.

The scam includes Trine State Recreation Area, Spring Mill State Park, McCormick’s Creek State Park, and the Morgan-Monroe State Forest and the Greene Sullivan State Forest.

If you were scammed, call the DNR at 812-837-9536.
