Goshen police arrest man allegedly tied to rash of car damage, break-ins

Police in Goshen have arrested a man they say is tied to a rash of cars damaged or broken into in several neighborhoods.

Officers were investigating some recent thefts, late last week, when they found Austin Inbody, 23, slumped over in the driver’s seat of a running vehicle in Roxbury Park.

They say Inbody awoke and led police on a vehicle and foot chase before running into an unlocked home. There, he was arrested for burglary and resisting law enforcement.

The thefts they tied him to have taken place in or around Briarwood, Roxbury, Cedarbrook and Brookside neighborhoods.

Investigators are asking that anybody who lives in those areas to check any video footage for unusual activity during the overnight hours.
