A bar in Roseland has increased their security protocol after a deadly shooting last month.

According to a post on their Facebook page, Cheers Pub on Dixie Highway says the efforts are meant to improve the safety and experience for all patrons of Cheers.

Effective now, all ID’s will be scanned.

Also, there are no “in or out privileges”.

Once customers are in the building they are to remain there until they leave. All customers will be patted down and have to pass a metal detector, including purses and hand bags.

Smoking will be permitted only on the back deck.

Also, no weapons or drugs will be allowed.
