Two people are recovering after a crash on an ice-slickened stretch of County Road 17.
The collision happened around 10:40 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 17, when Elkhart County Sheriff’s investigators say a 46-year-old Winona Lake woman was traveling southbound, north of County Road 142, and slid on the ice, then left the road.
The woman’s vehicle clipped several times before landing right side up.
