Man arrested after causing alleged disturbance at Elkhart McDonald’s

A man was arrested after allegedly getting into an argument and trying to spit on a worker at an Elkhart McDonald’s.

Police were called, Tuesday night, Jan. 25, to the restaurant in the 100 block of North Main Street regarding the disturbance.

On arrival, employees pointed police to the suspect who was riding off on a bicycle.

ABC 57 News reports the man, identified as 60-year-old Philip Kitchen of Elkhart, allegedly began yelling and making loud noises near Island Park, according to reports.

He was told to lower his voice multiple times, but he didn’t.

Kitchen was arrested on the charges of public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
