Benton Harbor bottled water pickups for Feb 1-7

Free bottled water pickups have been scheduled for this week in Benton Harbor.

Residents are still encouraged to use bottled water for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, rinsing food, and mixing baby formula.

Pickup is staffed by local volunteers and available at Benton Harbor High School or the Southwest Community Action Agency each day this week.

The schedule for bottled water pickup is as follows, according to WSJM:

Benton Harbor HS:

Tuesday, Feb. 1

12 – 2 p.m. – Volunteers from Abundant Life C.O.G.I.C.
4 – 6 p.m. – Volunteers from Ebenezer Baptist Church

Wednesday, Feb. 2

12 – 2 p.m. – Volunteers from Purpose Church Ministries
4 – 6 p.m. – Volunteers from Purpose Church Ministries

Thursday, Feb. 3

12 – 2 p.m. – Volunteers from Ebenezer Baptist Church
4 – 6 p.m. – Volunteers from Brotherhood of All Nations

Saturday, Feb. 5

12 – 2 p.m. – Volunteers from Boys & Girls Club of Benton Harbor
2 – 4 p.m. – Volunteers from New Covenant Community Baptist Church

Sunday, Feb. 6

2 – 4 p.m. – Volunteers from Abundant Life C.O.G.I.C.
4 – 6 pm – Volunteers from Brotherhood of All Nations

Monday, Feb. 7

12 – 2 p.m. – Volunteers from Abundant Life C.O.G.I.C.
4 – 6 p.m. – Volunteers from New Covenant Community Baptist Church

At the Southwest Community Action Agency:

Wednesday, Feb. 1, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Thursday, Feb. 2, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Friday, Feb. 3, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Monday, Feb. 7, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Again, why are decades of mismanagement by the elected officials in BH suddenly the problem of Michigan taxpayers overall?

The residents of BH voted for these grifters, lured by the party line and the promise of “free” stuff, so it is not unreasonable to think that they should be on the hook for the consequences of their actions.
