A man who allegedly left his two-and four-year-old children alone in a hotel room has been arrested.

Police were called shortly after midnight, Sunday morning, to the hotel in the 3000 block of Brittany Court.

ABC 57 reports officers found the children, unsupervised, in the hotel room and quickly caught up with Richard Schonscheck, 35, of Mishawaka, who had left the premises in a vehicle.

He was arrested on a preliminary charge of neglect of a dependent.
