February and March are big months for downtown Elkhart as two major collegiate swimming championships will take place at the Elkhart Health & Aquatics Center.

The Great Lakes Valley Conference Men’s and Women’s Swimming & Diving Championships take place, Wednesday, Feb. 9, through Sunday, Feb. 13 featuring more than 400 athletes representing 10 schools across the Midwest.

From March 10 – 12, the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America will take over the aquatics center for its National Invitational Championship featuring as many as 750 athletes from up to 50 colleges and universities across the U.S.
