The search continues in Elkhart to Find Susanna’s Kitchen a permanent location.

The organization provided meals to food insecure residents for years at their old location on South 3rd Street, but was displaced due to the sale of the building.

The Knights of Columbus has allowed Susanna’s Kitchen to temporarily serve meals from their building on East Lexington, in the meantime.

In order for Susanna’s Kitchen to take residency in the Knights of Columbus, a special exception must be granted by the City of Elkhart’s Board of Zoning Appeals.

The board was to be presented the request by Susanna’s Kitchen on February 10th, but has been delayed one month as the City and other partners collaborate to find the organization a new and permanent location.
