Mishawaka parishioners concerned about pastor in Ukraine

A church in Mishawaka is especially concerned about the tensions between Ukraine and Russia.

Father Volodymyr Hudzan of the St. Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church on East Lawrence St. in Mishawaka is currently in Ukraine, attending the funeral of a relative. WSBT reports that the pastor is in a town near the Polish border, which could make an escape easier if Russian troops pour over the eastern border this week.

He was expected to return this week but the uncertainty of the situation has created concerns about when he might be able to come home.
