An Elkhart man has been arrested after police say he locked a woman in a shed.

It happened late Saturday night, Feb. 12, in the 1900 block of Marvin Gardens.

The woman said she arrived home and got into a fight with her boyfriend, 26-year-old Juan Casteneda.

She said she went to the shed to get some items while trying to leave and said Casteneda pushed her down on some tools and locked the door.

The woman called 911 from inside the shed. Police arrived and arrested Casteneda on charges of criminal confinement and domestic battery in the presence of a child.
