Police are investigating the cause of an explosion near Osceola, late Monday morning.

A mobile Farrier, someone who shoes horses, just left a job when his truck exploded near Vistula Road.

St. Joseph County police say the blast severely damaged the truck, but the Farrier was unharmed.

The blast not only blew apart the back of the truck, but cracked windows on one home and dropped debris on the roof of another.
