Marijuana prices are dropping in Michigan.
January delivered a record low cost for getting high in The Great Lakes State, which has brought a smile to the faces of retailers and customers…and plenty of paranoia for smaller growers.
Bridge Michigan reports a flood of product on the market is driving down prices, with roughly 55 times more pot for sale, and people buying it at 16 times the rate when it hit the legal market two years ago.
An ounce in December of 2019 was $516. In January, that same ounce was just $152.
Michigan has quickly grown into the fourth largest marijuana market in the U.S.
