With the State of the Union in the rear-view mirror, 2nd District Representative Jackie Walorski is calling on President Biden to end what she calls his assault on American-made energy and restore the nation’s energy independence.
Walorski says from his first days in office, President Biden attacked American-made energy with executive orders that rolled back domestic production, killed jobs and raised costs. As a result, she says the nation imports 600,000 barrels of oil per day from Russia.
Walorski has co-sponsored the American Energy Independence from Russia Act, which would immediately approve the Keystone XL pipeline, unleash U.S. liquid natural gas exports to boost natural gas production and restart oil and gas leasing on federal lands and waters.
She’s also co-sponsored the ’Never Yielding Europe Territory Act, which would sanction Russia’s energy industry and stop construction of Nord Stream 2 in addition to other provisions to impose costs on Putin and support Ukraine.

Dopey King Xo the Idiot of Brandon has always been a feckless stooge. I’ve watched him as a US Senator for nearly 50 years. In no instance does he understand how the world really works. The way to defeat Putin is by letting the oil flow from the US sources. Drive the price/barrel as low as possible to take Putin’s money. And why would the US be buying 500,000 barrels/day from an enemy? Brandon is a bozo of the lowest order and always has been. Why in the world would The People put him in charge? Did the founders intend for a single person to have so much power. NO THEY DID NOT!!
No President or governor has this much power with the stroke of the pen. Constitutionally The People have the power through their buying habits or through their elected representatives in the legislature.
