Crews fighting a fire on Miami Street near Indiana Avenue in South Bend, early Monday morning, were challenged by a downed power line in the back of the building.

The area was blocked to traffic while multiple crews at the scene dealt with the blaze.

It took about 40 minutes to get the fire under control.

The blaze was not suspected to be suspicious, but there was no immediate word about the cause.

There was no report of injuries.
