South Bend man sentenced to 110 months in prison for drug offense

A 41-year-old South Bend man has been sentenced to 110 months in prison after pleading guilty in U.S. District Court to possessing with intent to distribute over 50 grams of methamphetamine.

According to court documents, it was back in September 2020 that Te’Ron Reid was on home detention for a different sentence when law enforcement searched his residence.

Inside his home, officers found over 100 grams of methamphetamine, a drug ledger, and a loaded firearm.

The case was prosecuted as part of the joint federal, state, and local Project Safe Neighborhoods Program.
