Governor Eric Holcomb to travel to Slovakia, Israel to talk trade

Governor Eric Holcomb will be traveling to Slovakia and Israel to discuss trade, starting on March 27.

The Associated Press reported that Holcomb will be making the journey with two of his top aides. The three intend to promote Indiana as a trading partner for both nations.

Holcomb and his aides will work to continue a longstanding partnership between Indiana and Slovakia.

The AP specified that the trio will advocate Indiana as a great option for sustainable energy and more coming from the European nation.

They are also hoping to show Hoosier support for Ukraine and its refugees by meeting with various organizations.

After Slovakia, the group will move on to Israel. There, they plan to advance trade discussions focused on other topics, including agriculture and pharmaceuticals.
