Governor Holcomb signs Indiana’s Constitutional Carry bill into law

Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb signed into law HEA 1296, Indiana’s Constitutional Carry bill, making Indiana the third state to pass Constitutional Carry legislation in 2022.

Residents still have the option of obtaining a gun permit. And you might want to do that, because you’ll need it to carry in states that still require a permit.

Under the bill signed into law, permits will be optional–in Indiana. The governor and the state police superintendent did not see eye to eye on this. But Doug Carter offers Holcomb his “continued commitment.” And he says he will work to find “the best way to identify individuals who are not allowed to carry a firearm.”

Indiana’s Constitutional Carry law goes into effect on July 1, 2022.

Great news! Holcomb signed this only to protect his Senate aspirations, but I will still take the win and be happy.

His finger in the air to see which way the wind was blowing on this issue and his future career were completely at the forefront with this vote. Don’t be fooled, Gov. Homer Holcomb is a RINO, and should never be elected to higher office, and definitely not Senator from the State of Indiana. He can go back to whatever hole he climbed out off before he came here to be anointed Governor.

His veto would have been over ridden. He is a political animal. I believe he has never held a position as an adult that wasn’t connected to government. NEVER vote for him for any other office. He is not a leader. Ne is a windmill changing directions with every breath. I knew we were in trouble when he announced the first “Covid” death. He was in near tears. There are lots of ways people die every day. Why were tears necessary for a Covid death? His veto of the ban on boys playing on girls teams will also be over ridden. This is real simple, no matter what the fetid brain of a youngster or his teachers think, XX Chromosomes should play with other XXs. XYs should do the same. There are some sports that gender doesn’t matter. Chess and checkers comes to mind. Many competitive shooting sports compete on equal basis. But when it comes to the ability of a body to shoot a basket, kick a field goal or tackle there are profound differences between the different bodies. His veto was pandering to a very small minority while dooming many female athletes to second class status in their own sport. Dopey Crown Prince Eric the Idiot of Hoosierville is a very sick puppy.

That’s a win but we lost when he vetoed the bill banning Transgenders from participating in Female sports.
