Senator Mike Braun of Indiana is blasting President Biden and Democratic lawmakers for millions of COVID relief dollars being spent on luxury hotels, ski slopes, and golf courses.
He wants all the money to be repaid.
Among the funds handed out were $140 million dollars for a high-end hotel that would have views of the Atlantic Ocean and an 11,000-square-foot spa, $6 million to replace irrigation systems at two golf courses, and tens of millions of dollars for tourism marketing campaigns.
Braun says the accounting is proof of what he called “wasteful spending and liberal pet projects” jammed into the COVID Relief bill.

Most COVID relief was spent on things that have nothing to do with COVID. Why is anyone shocked by this?

One reason our founders established a government of very limited powers was the great possibility, nee certainty, of corruption. The more money our federal government spend the more corruption there is. As our Senator points out, it is massive and country wide. Think about it.; they’re spending YOUR money in all these other states for all these boondoggle scams. Most of the money is is made up out of thin air which steals some worth of the money you have in the bank or in your pocket today and every day going forward through Bidneflation. Why would you vote for any0one who supports government’s legalized theft??
Anyone care about the amount of money that was spent by trump trying to overthrow an American presidential Election? Or the millions that was spent on security for trump’s resort due to the fact he wouldn’t conduct business at the White House! No sticking up for Biden, but both sides are to blame

The only people that could afford to use the money you are so concerned about, are those that felt compelled to disregard the pandemiç regulations. Most people needed this money to keep the lights on, but food, and keep the heat regulated. It’s people like yourself that didn’t need it in the first place, that committed such offenses. It just like building the fence on the border that cannot keep anyone from crossing. It’s time for the upper 10% to pay their fair share of taxes on your wealth! I am tired of paying for hotspots that wanted to overthrow out Constitution!!!
