3-year Berrien County highway project resumes in April

(MDOT)

The final phase of the project linking US 31 and I 94 in Berrien County begins next week.

It’s part of a three-year, $121.5 million MDOT project that will also rebuild the I-94 Business Loop, the I-196/I-94 interchange, and the stretch of I-94 between Britain Avenue and I-196.

Various nighttime double-lane closures, traffic shifts, ramp closures and detours will be put into place in the first two weeks of April.

The whole project is expected to be finished in late November.
