Habitat for Humanity breaks ground on another home in Elkhart

Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity of Elkhart County broke ground Tuesday on a home for a family of four on Hester Street, next door to another Habitat build that’s already under construction.

The woman whose family will receive the home tells The Elkhart Truth that she’s worked on four other houses while putting in 200 hours of volunteer time since June of last year.

The land on Hester for she and her three daughters, as well as her eventual neighbors at the other home, was donated to the organization.
