The cost to mail a letter is going up again

Postage rates climb again after only eleven months since the last raise.

The United States Postal Service announced plans, earlier this week, to raise the postage rates in 2022.

First-Class Mail prices would raise by 6.5%.

While this is still lower than the Bureau of Labor Statistics annual inflation rate, the price of postcard stamps alone will increase to 44 cents.

Price increases will take place in July.

I guess funding that branch of the USPS that is being used to spy on the social media posts of American citizens is costing them more money than they thought.

And no, I’m not kidding, that’s a real thing (sadly).
