Girl injured and homes, cars damaged by bullets along Alonzo Watson Drive in South Bend

A teenage girl was hurt and several neighbors left shaken after shots were fired in South Bend.

The shooting happened around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 9, along Alonzo Watson Drive at an apparent house party.

The gunfire struck multiple homes and cars and some people were injured by glass after the gunfire shattered their windows, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

There was no report of any suspects or arrests.

The complex where the shots were fired is expected to be torn down within the year, ABC 57 reported.
