Guilty plea from woman accused of stealing from wheelchair bound man

It’s a guilty plea from a woman accused of stealing money from a man in a wheelchair in Elkhart.

Felicia Ware, 50, admitted hitting the homeless man in the face outside of Central Christian Church, according to The Elkhart Truth.

The victim said she, and a man with her, then took $30 from one of his pockets.

The plea agreement calls for four-years in prison, with one year suspended.

The judge accepted the pleas.

She’ll be sentenced early next month.

The man who was with Ware is set for trial in August.
