Warrants were issued in Elkhart County for five people who prosecutors say attacked two people at a party, then fired guns at them when the two tried to leave..

The fight happened back in August at a home on Concord Avenue and stemmed from an argument.

The Elkhart Truth reports the warrants were issued for Deandre Peoples, D’Angelo Gills, Katherine Williams and Ashley Williams, of Elkhart, and Byron Coleman, of Goshen.

They face charges ranging from criminal recklessness, misdemeanor battery resulting in injury and battery with a deadly weapon.

The victims suffered facial and head injuries and body pain. The vehicle they fled in was damaged by gunfire.
