A man who pointed a gun at a woman, asking for money, ran away after she pulled out her own gun.

The victim told South Bend Police that the man, Garland Adams, pulled out a gun and pointed it at her, when she refused to give him money.

ABC 57 News reports that the victim then pulled out her own gun.

Adams then took off on his bike.

Police later found him at 36th Street and Mishawaka Avenue with the weapon, which turned out to be a BB gun.

Adams was taken into custody for intimidation… and the woman was arrested for carrying a handgun without a license, but ended up being released.

Her only mistake: She didn’t pull the bang switch with her bugger picker.

Calling the cops when she was carrying without a permit was a mistake too, even though she was not the aggressor here.

Situations like this are why Constitutional Carry is so very important in Indiana.
