Indiana is one of 20 states asking the Department of Homeland Security to end the new Disinformation Governance Board.
Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita signed on to a letter last week asking Homeland Security director Alejandro Mayorkas to ‘immediately disband’ the board, and to stop ‘all efforts to police Americans’ protected speech.’
Rokita and the other A-G’s say there is no constitutional or legal authority for the Department of Homeland Security to decide what disinformation is.
The A-G’s say state legislatures or Congress should deal with any proposals that would try and limit what people can and cannot say.

Good on Rokita and the other AGs for trying, but the authoritarian left is going to do whatever they want.
It’s funny how Hollyweird imagines dystopian futures with Republicans in charge, but it is the leftists who really run the dystopian show…
We all know the right loves their alternative facts and the ability to incite riots with lies aka disinformation with no accountability.
Fact; trump lost.
Fact; trump incited an insurrection using disinformation.
Fact; trump lied more than 20,000 times during his ONLY Term
So do you have lots of sand in your ears when you pull your head out?
Those “facts” that you cite aren’t facts, they are repeatedly narrated wishes given voice by the Democrat pravda media. If your only source of news if the mainstream media, I can understand how you could be so woefully misinformed. That doesn’t make you correct, however.
really J? U obviously haven’t heard of or seen the truth movie 2000 Mules. wow
