You’re invited to use your two legs to help benefit the Elkhart Police Department’s four-legged officers.

The Department’s K9 unit is hosting a 5-K-9 run and 1 mile walk this Saturday, from 10 until 1. The starting line is at 1 Blazer Blvd. in Elkhart.

The entry fee is $25 dollars and includes refreshments and a T-shirt. Or, you can enter for just $15 dollars without the t-shirt.

Children 5 and younger can race for free.

Proceeds support the dogs and handlers in the Elkhart Police Department’s K9 unit.
