Dogan found guilty for the murder of Lateisha Burnett

A South Bend man has been found guilty of a woman’s murder that happened in April 2021.

Lateisha Burnett, 28, was shot to death and two others were hurt in a shooting that happened in the 1200 block of Dunham Street.

The jury returned a guilty verdict against Kenneth Dogan, 42, for murder, criminal recklessness and invasion of privacy.

Dogan was found not guilty attempted murder and voluntary manslaughter.

Dogan faces the possibility of more than 70 years in prison when he’s sentenced on June 15th.
