The woman who answered, Jackie Barnes, wouldn’t say where the suspect was in the home or not and wouldn’t let police in to check.
Armed with a search warrant a short time later, officers went in. As they searched, they, once again, asked if the person they were looking for was in the home. She said she didn’t know.
Officers went into her bedroom, opened a closet, and found the man hiding under some clothing.
Barnes was arrested on a charge of assisting a criminal.
