A Silver Lake woman died after crashing her vehicle in Fulton County.

The collision happened just before 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 31, in the 600 block of State Road 14.

Officers arrived to find Brittany Schutchfield trapped inside a Ford Explorer that crashed into a tree.

She was extricated from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. Why she drove off the road still being investigated.
