Driver injured after colliding with train at CR 15 and CR 45 in Goshen

One person was hurt when the car he was driving collided with a train.

The crash happened around 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, June 4, at the intersection of County Road 15 and County Road 45 in Goshen.

Officers arrived to find the driver injured. He was taken by ambulance to Elkhart General Hospital. There was no word on the severity of his injuries.

Several nearby vehicles were damaged by debris that was thrown from the vehicle as a result of the collision.
