LaGrange veteran to go on honor flight

A LaGrange veteran will be on an honor flight, leaving Fort Wayne on Wednesday.

89-year-old, Carl Plasterer, served in the Army from 1956 to 1958, as an optometrist, where he was stationed in Colorado and France.

According to the Elkhart Truth, he is now retired and living at Waterford Crossing Senior Living in Goshen.

Tomorrow, a special send off is taking place at Waterford Crossing, that the community is invited to.

The honor flights are free for the veterans and include going to memorials and honoring fellow veterans.
