Temperatures expected to reach upper 90s next week

The forecast heats up next week, no pun intended.
Highs will reach the mid to upper 90s by Tuesday and Wednesday, with heat indices in the one-hundred-teens in some parts of the state, so the National Weather Service says it’s possible some heat advisories may be issued.
With that come the common-sense reminders: Have plenty of bottled water at the ready, be thinking about cooling shelters if need be, and limiting time outside for both you and your pets.
