SWAT Team called to home near Calvert & Sampson Streets in South Bend

South Bend Police responded to a SWAT situation near the area of Calvert Street and Sampson Street on Friday afternoon, June 10.

Police say they went to serve a search warrant for an armed and dangerous fugitive that could have been inside a home in the area.

Neighbors say flash bangs and tear gas were deployed inside the home.

Officers eventually went in but did not locate anybody inside of the dwelling.
