A shooting in Benton Harbor claimed one person’s life and left two others injured.

Benton Township officers were called early Sunday morning, June 19, to the area of Ogden Avenue and Willow Creek Drive where they found two women who were shot.

The victims were taken to Spectrum Health Lakeland. One of the victims died. The other woman was airlifted to Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo.

A third victim, a male, arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound to his toe.

Investigators say there was a large party happening near where the shooting took place.
