An autopsy will be conducted on Friday on a body that was found in the St. Joseph River in Keller Park.
A fisherman made the discovery around 4 p.m. on Thursday, June 23, near the boat launch in the 1800 block of Riverside Drive.
South Bend Police, Clay Fire and the Indiana Department of Natural Resources all responded, as well as the St. Joseph County Coroner.
There was no word on the identity of the body, or how long it may have been there.
