Benton Harbor police searching for suspects after fatal shooting

Police in Benton Harbor are searching for suspects after a man was shot and killed.

Officers with the Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety were called shortly after 12 A.M. on Saturday, June 25, to the area of Seely Street and Highland Avenue.

That’s where they found Maurice McKenzie, 32, wounded.

He died due to his injuries while being take to Lakeland Spectrum Health.

Police are seeking information about the shooting and ask anybody with information to contact the tip line at 269-927-0293 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-342-STOP (7867).
