Lifeline Youth Ministries groundbreaking set for June 29

Lifeline Youth Ministries will celebrate the groundbreaking which marks the start of construction of its new 36,000 square foot facility on 2721 Prairie St. in Elkhart, Indiana at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 29.

The facility will serve elementary through high school students with tutoring, mentorship, vocational training, and athletic related programs, including its eight-week summer camp.
The Lifeline Hub facility will provide the ability to more than double its service to youth living primarily in Elkhart’s south side.

Approximately 6,000 square feet is dedicated to a vocational training center. There will be three sports courts and a designated area for adult classes such as GED education, English as a second language, parenting and financial classes, supporting the growth of neighborhood adults and the parents of Lifeline students.

The facility will also increase the service hours per student from six hours to eighteen hours per week.
