There were rallies in South Bend Monday afternoon on both sides of the Roe v. Wade debate.

The group Hoosier Conservative Voices held a “Rally for Life” to celebrate the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision, and reminded participants thee is still work to be done to ban abortions in Indiana. Representatives Jackie Walorski and Jake Teshka were in attendance and told the crowd they would vote in support of the movement.

Across the street on Jefferson Boulevard, a small group of Pro-Choice advocates held up signs and protested the potential for states to establish their own abortion policies.

Both sides are expected to have a presence in the state capital next week when lawmakers and Governor Holcomb hold a special session.
